October 14th marked the first annual Lotus Gardenscapes & Bloom! Fall Staff Appreciation BBQ as a thank you for the tons of hard work everyone has put in this season....
Lotus Gardenscapes is an award-winning landscape design and build firm owned by environmental artist Traven Pelletier. We work closely with our clients to create artistic and distinctive landscapes. Our collaborative approach ensures each custom landscape design reflects our client’s aesthetic preferences and accommodates their desired outdoor lifestyle. Our team of master craftsmen and horticulturists install and maintain landscapes of all styles and sizes with an eye for detail.
BLOOM! Gardens, our onsite nursery and garden boutique, offers both new and experienced gardeners a personalized shopping experience. Our products are thoughtfully selected and include unique and native plants, organic and locally produced gardening supplies, and beautiful botanical decor and accessories.
Lotus Gardenscapes provided early design consultation and input on the landscape plan we had developed for our lakefront home. As the project evolved, they installed bluestone patios, a sunken seating area for our outside dining table, an entry pond with water feature, a dry creek-bed, rain gardens, plantings, irrigation and sod. We enjoyed working with their crews and we were very impressed with Wade's selection for plantings. Scott was very creative with the pond design and executed the rock and bolder placement with a great deal of extra thought and care. He truly understood our design intent and was able to convert it to reality.
Elemental Design has made our landscape project easy and spectacular. Traven listed to us and respected our views of the project. He brought and artist's eye to the design, keeping it simple and unfussy. He always responded to our inquiries promptly. His crew members are skillful, careful and deliberate in their work. They work as if the job is for their home. Scott, Dave, Chris and John are hardworking and bring their unique talents to the job. They were respectful and personable. Lauren chose plants so that this non-gardener can be successful. This is a company of talented and fun people.
Traven and Lauren came up with a fresh modern design that complemented both our house and garden. Christopher led the construction crew and did a great job turning the design into reality, making a few aesthetic improvements along the way. Overall Lotus Gardenscapes did a great job for us, and I would recommend them to anyone.
After consulting several companies, it was clear Lotus Gardenscapes/Elemental Design was far and away the superior choice for our needs. We wanted a wooden fence installed in a fairly large backyard, with part of it being what we would deem a specialty fence, (bamboo) along with two gates. Traven was extremely knowledgeable and answered all our questions, as well as offering several ideas. His crew was not only top notch but very friendly and easy to get along with-- their presence over several days not intrusive at all. One of the gates we had installed was a Japanese Torii gate, and Traven was quite amenable to our suggestions and never tried to push us in another direction than what we desired. We would highly recommend them, and use them for other landscaping services in the future. If you are looking for a reliable company that will show up on time, perform the work requested, this is it!
We just had landscape work done by Lotus Gardenscapes. We couldn't be happier with their work. We originally wanted just a cleanup and "de-junglization" of our property (which was done very well, even though we were away at the time), but also decided to do a re-design of the gardens. Nicole Lloyd, our designer, was very helpful, providing an extensive questionnaire about our budget, style, types of plantings, etc. She then designed our whole property. Financially, it was way too much for us to do all at once, but we really liked her ideas. She was more than willing to break the design up into pieces that we could afford, re-doing the budget and design for the part we decided to have done.
