Meet Shannon: The Math Whiz Behind Lotus’ Success

Shannon Agar has been the brains behind Lotus’ finances for almost a decade. A mathematician by nature, she earned her marketing and finance degree at Michigan State University and has worked in the field for more than 15 years. She joined Lotus in 2012 and has been helping the company thrive ever since.
As a numbers girl in a team of creatives, she is responsible for translating the artistic genius into equations. She not only manages the company accounts but also the payroll, our employee portal, our SOPs, and pretty much every other system that keeps the business ticking. How does she get through it all? According to Shannon – with a Yeti-full of coffee every morning. And when times get tough, she knows a caramel Twix can do wonders.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Outside of work, Shannon has been a competitive softball player for many years. Thursdays are her favorite day of the week as meetings conclude at 4 pm, just in time for her to hit the ball field. When she’s not at softball, Shannon loves traveling to new destinations and taking her pontoon out on Strawberry Lake with her family. This year, she will celebrate her 25th wedding anniversary with her husband, an achievement she is very proud of.
Shannon’s attention to detail, perfectionism, and ability to organize even the most complex systems is the backbone of Lotus’ continued success.
