Meet Moe! Lotus’ Botanical MaestroÂ
Meet Moe Gorski, our Project Manager.
With a unique background in linguistics and a Master Gardener’s License from Michigan State, Moe brings our team a blend of academic prowess and green-thumb expertise.
Moe orchestrates the daily operations at Lotus, making sure each landscaping project—from the smallest flower beds to sprawling garden designs—is set up for success. Her role is crucial in coordinating with our crews to ensure every client receives the highest quality experience.
Originally from Port Huron, Moe has lived in Ypsilanti for the last 25 years, drawn by its strong sense of community and shared support among neighbors. She loves the color orange and has a particular fondness for potatoes in any form. Her favorite plant is the Corkscrew Willow, and she adores the scent of lilacs, which remind her of summer.
One of Moe’s most memorable projects that she’s worked on was designing a memory garden for an Alzheimer’s and dementia facility in Ann Arbor. This project allowed her to creatively use her knowledge of plants to evoke positive memories for the residents, making it both challenging and rewarding.
Away from work, Moe enjoys a variety of activities, including camping, disc golf, and art projects. She also spends quality time with her partner, Mani, and their circle of friends, exploring the outdoors and enjoying the creative arts.
In the next five years, Moe sees herself growing either as an even more skilled project manager or advancing further within our company. She is committed to her professional development and to contributing positively to Lotus’s growth. Moe believes that Lotus stands out in the landscaping industry for its personal and innovative approach to design. She would tell prospective clients that choosing Lotus means opting for a dedicated and unique experience from start to finish.
