Greenstreet Tree Services received $300,000 through the American Forests’ Catalyst Fund to bring equitable tree canopy to the City of Ann Arbor. Funding for this project was provided by the Inflation Reduction Act, where American Forests is partnered with the USDA Forest Service’s Urban and Community Forestry Program as a national pass-through funding partner. Through the American Forests Catalyst Fund, the City of Ann Arbor will be able to implement this project in the Bryant Community, Arrowwood Hills Cooperative and select streets in Pittsfield Village.
